  • About Sowan:
Sowan (School of Witchcraft and Nature) teaches Witchcraft and Paganism for solitaires with an eclectic and modern approach. We do not teach a specific Pagan religion; we teach nature-based spirituality under the broad term of Paganism sometimes known as Neo-Paganism. If you are under 18, discuss the first lesson called "The Basics" with your parents before continuing any other lessons.

    Instructions:
Each lesson is a collection of articles and exercises, formed to provide a step-by-step learning regimn. Start with the first lesson: "The Basics". Once you have completed that lesson, move down to the next one "Dedication" and so on and so on. The length of time you spend on each lesson will vary and some lesson will overlap. Take your time!

Each lesson will have a combination of the following sectors:

    Terms and definitions.

Reading material to help you understand the lesson.

A task you need to perform. Some assignments are simple and easy, some take a long time.

Optional assignments. Sort of like extra credit.

End of lesson recap or a bit of information that will effect future lessons.

If you ever feel weird or confused during any part of your lessons, stop and take a break. If you can't figure out what's bothering you, look around or talk to others who have been in your shoes. Sowan may not be right for you.
